Atkinson Bolton Consulting
August 2009 - James Bolton, Director abseils Southwold Lighthouse in aid of the RNLI.
During the day more than 70 people abseiled down the Southwold lighthouse including two leading British actors; Bernard Hill and David Morrissey and 12 Southwold RNLI lifeboat crew members. All the money raised will go towards the RNLI's national Train One, Save Many campaign, which has been set up to fund the training of volunteer lifeboat crews (www.rnli.org.uk).
James thoroughly enjoyed the experience and said, "it was a fantastic day, great weather, a great view and for a great cause, but I am not sure if I will be doing it again anytime soon".
September 2008 – Chariots of Fire
Thank you to everyone who sponsored us and also for the kind support on the day.

13th November 2007

Director James Bolton helps Northern Jockeys Captain Dale Gibson present the £12,000 raised to the Injured Jockeys Fund. The game was fast and furious, and, as in 2006, Atkinson Bolton sponsored the winning team. Unlike last year, we made certain of this, by sponsoring both teams! The Southern Jockeys included Frankie Dettori and Champion Jockey Seb Sanders, but thier star status was not enough to avoid a 3-1 defeat.
5th to 14th September 2003 - Tanzania Bike Ride

19th March 2003 - Learning The Ropes
As you can see from the photographs, Simon Gibson bravely (stupidly?) agreed to abseil from the roof of his local church, St Mary's in Burwell. Funds were raised for the church and also for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Simon, who has been walking from an early age, has nevertheless, never previously stepped backwards off the roof of a church only attached to a piece of rope! He recommends that you only do this if you are insane or in need of such a high level of excitement that you are unable to get it elsewhere!
Nevertheless, thanks to local businesses, clients, friends and relatives, as well as all of the staff at Thoroughbred Financial Services, over £200 was raised for these good causes.
