The ABC Retirement Management Plan™

Utilising the most tax efficient methods, and all available assets, we consider your existing plans and help you to manage your funds to provide your ideal standard of living when you stop work/ retire.  We will look at your current allocation of assets and help you to rebalance these assets.  We will, of course, also consider the many options available to you.  Your ambitions, current and likely future income, as well as the availability of capital and your attitude to risk, will all ultimately affect your choices in retirement.  This plan carefully considers all of the above and makes recommendations accordingly.  The difference between an old man or woman, and an elderly gentleman or lady, is money!

In order to assist you with this Personal Plan™, we need you to be thinking about the following questions:

  1. What is your intended retirement age? 
  2. What is your ideal (realistic) income, in today’s terms, at that age? 
  3. Which of your current assets do you propose to use for income in retirement, such as ISAs/ PEPs, commercial property etc? 
  4. What about existing (including deferred) pensions?  Do they need auditing?
  5. What is your acceptable level of risk for assets that will ultimately provide you with income in later life? 
  6. Do you wish/ need to provide a spouses pension?
  7. Have you had a forecast of your State Retirement Benefits?  (We will provide you with the form to get this information free if you do not already have it).
  8. Any other pertinent information, such as what it is that you have always wanted to do that, once you are retired, you will be able to do?  In our experience, the answer to this may dramatically alter the income/ capital, that you need in retirement.

With this information, we will write The ABC Retirement Management Plan™ to your specification, following The Recognition Process™, the Advice Process™ and drawing on the information that we already know about you, such as your age and current income/ expenditure.

We know from experience that many people are on the wrong form of transport, or simply keep missing the plane, boat or train.  With the ABC Retirement Management Plan™ implemented and reviewed annually, we will help you to arrive safely, at your desired destination, on time and with the right amount of money (income and capital).  You will then be able to go off and do whatever you have set your heart on, in retirement.
